Budgie recordings (28/02/16)

Along with the field recordings I also did some recordings of a friends pet budgie, using two DPA's hanging over the cage, a shotgun mic set next to it and the Zoom looking up at the cage opening.

This worked really well as I captured unique tweets and noises from it.

Most effective though was a really clear rustle of the budgie's feathers, captured with one of the DPA's, this later became the Hi Hats for my song as the fast fluttering effect loops nicely.
